Welcome to the Vidbox Software (hereinafter referred to as “This Software”). This User Terms (hereinafter referred to as “The Terms”) is a legally binding agreement between the User (hereinafter referred to as “You”) and the operator of this Software regarding the use of this Software. Please read and fully understand all the terms of this Terms, and your use of this Software will be considered as if you have accepted all the terms of this Terms; if you do not accept this Terms, do not use this Software.

1. Software Usage Scope and Qualification

1.1 Use eligibility

1.1.1 You must be over the age of 18 and have full civil conduct ability (if you are under the age of 18, use of this Software is required under the consent and supervision of the legal guardian, and the legal guardian assumes the corresponding responsibility).

1.1.2 You promise that your identity is authentic and valid, that you will not register with, use this Software, or use this Software for any activity that violates the laws and regulations of your country or region.

1.2 Scope of Use

1.2.1 This Software provides core services such as life recording, journal editing and saving, which you can reasonably use in accordance with these provisions.

1.2.2 You may use the Software only for personal, non-commercial purposes and not for commercial promotion, profitable activities or other unauthorized purposes without the written permission of the operator.

2. Account Registration and Management

2.1 Account Registration

2.1.1 You must submit authentic and accurate registration information (including, but not limited to, email address, password, etc.) to complete account registration through the formal registration channel provided by this Software.

2.1.2 If the Registration Information changes, you should update it promptly to ensure the validity of the information; if the Registration Information is false or invalid, you are responsible for all losses.

2.2 Account Management

2.2.1 You are responsible for the security of your account and password. You must not disclose your account information to any third party. If your account is stolen or information is leaked due to your own misconduct, you are solely responsible for that.

2.2.2 If you discover unusual use of your account (including, but not limited to, out-of-place logins, unfamiliar operations), you should contact the operator promptly, and the operator will assist in the verification process based on the information you provide, but will not be liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from this.

2.2.3 You may complete the account sign-out operation within this Software according to your own needs, and after sign-out, account-related data (including but not limited to diaries, food storage records, etc.) will be processed according to the terms of this Ordinance.

3. Specifications for Software Functional Use

3.1 Logging Functionality

3.1.1 When you use the journal recording function, you must ensure the legality, authenticity of the recorded content, and that no content that violates the laws, regulations, and procedures of the country or region in which you are located may be recorded or stored (including, but not limited to, violence, pornography, discrimination, slander, etc.).

3.1.2 You have legal copyrights on the journal content you record, the operator provides you with storage services only, does not share ownership of the content, and will not view, modify, or disclose your journal content without your permission.

3.2 Food Storage Functions

3.2.1 You may record food-related information (including, but not limited to, the name of the food, the shelf life, the method of storage, etc.) through this Software. This information is entered by you yourself and the operator is not responsible for verifying the authenticity and accuracy of the information.

3.2.2 You should use the Food Storage feature reasonably, do not use this feature to record non-food-related illegal information, and do not use this feature to spread false food information to mislead others.

4. Data Privacy and Protection

4.1 Data Collection and Use

4.1.1 The Operator will only collect the registration information that you voluntarily provide, the operational data generated when using this Software (including but not limited to log content, food storage records, etc.), for the purpose of providing you with the Software service and optimizing the Software experience.

4.1.2 Operators will not sell, use, or lease your Personal Data to any third party without your written permission, or unless otherwise required by law or regulation.

4.2 Data Storage and Security

4.2.1 Operators will adopt reasonable technical measures to encrypt your data storage and strive to ensure the security and integrity of the data, but do not promise that the data is absolutely free of risks (including, but not limited to, data loss or disclosure due to cyber attacks, system failures).

4.2.2 After the account is logged out, the operator will delete your related data within a reasonable period, or anonymize it, and no longer retain your personal identification information and identifiable usage data.

5. Forbidden Behaviors

5.1 You may not use this Software to engage in any behavior that violates the laws, regulations, and procedures of your country or region, including but not limited to:

5.1.1 Uploading, storing, disseminating violent, pornographic, terrorist, discriminatory, libelous, slanderous, and other illegal content;

5.1.2 Theft, impersonation of other people‘s accounts, theft of other people‘s data, and violation of other people‘s legitimate rights and interests;

5.1.3 reverse-engineering, hacking, tampering, or creating, disseminating malicious programs related to the Software;

5.1.4 Use of this Software to disseminate spam information, malicious advertising, and interfere with normal use by other users;

5.1.5 Other acts in violation of this Ordinance and related laws and regulations.

6. Software Updates and Maintenance

6.1 Operators have the right to update and upgrade this Software based on technological development, user needs, etc., including but not limited to feature optimizations, bug fixes, version iterations, etc.

6.1.1 After a software update, some features may change how they are used. You should adapt to the updated software version promptly. If you do not accept the update, some features may not work properly. The operator is not responsible for this.

6.2 Operators will regularly maintain software systems. During maintenance periods, some or all services may be suspended. You will be notified in advance through in-software notifications, mail, etc., to minimize the impact on your use.

7. Limitation and Disclaimer of Liability

7.1 Any losses resulting from your own misconduct, account disclosure, violation of the terms of this Ordinance, or laws and regulations are your sole responsibility and the operator is not liable for any liability.

7.2 Due to irresistible forces (including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, typhoons, network disruptions, system failures, etc.) causing this Software to fail to provide service normally, the Operator assumes no liability for breach of contract, but will endeavor to restore service and notify you promptly.

7.3 The Operator makes no absolute commitments to the functional integrity and stability of use of this Software, and the Operator is not liable for compensation if indirect losses to you result from software functionality defects.

7.4 If the content you record and store through this Software is lost or damaged due to its own causes (including but not limited to mishandling, equipment failure), the operator will not be liable for recovery or compensation.

8. Modification of the provisions and dispute resolution

8.1 Operators have the right to modify and add to this provision in accordance with changes in laws and regulations, adjustments to software services, and the modified provision will be notified to you through in-software notifications, mail, etc., and your continued use of this software will be considered to have accepted the modified provision.

8.2 Any dispute arising between you and the operator due to the use of this Software should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit in the courts with jurisdiction where the operator resides.

This provision is effective from the date of your use of this software, and the final interpretation is the property of the operator of this software.
